“The action of traversing space is born from the natural need to move with the purpose of finding food and essential information for the own survival. However, once the basic needs have been satisfied, moving became a symbolic action that enabled the human being to inhabit the world. By modifying the meanings of the traversed space, the journey became the first aesthetic action that penetrated the territories of chaos, constructing a new order on the bases of which developed the architecture of the objects placed in it. To walk is an art that contains in its core the menhir, the sculpture, the architecture and the landscape. Starting from this plain action, the most important relations established by the human being with the territory have developed.”
